I wanted to take the opportunity to send you a message about our experience in migrating to the current version of Pro/E and PDMLink.
Robert has done a fantastic job on our project. He is very professional in managing the project and assisting our users in their understanding of the new software. We really appreciated his guidance and opinions of how to manage our data.
Robert gave our engineers an additional training session 2 days post-migration that helped them to better understand to new processes. This training was invaluable because it came at a time when the engineers had a chance to struggle a bit with the system. Robert’s documents and explanation gave them some new clarity on how things work.
Robert fit in very well with our IT department, so we voted him on the Island. He even gave us grief for coming into “his office” and taking things out without asking, but he was soon doing the same to other IT guys as well so it all worked out for the best.
Robert worked really hard on the migration programming to insure that everything moved properly. We had a very smooth migration and considering the distance we had to go to get to the current version, that’s saying a lot. He put in a lot of hours and always followed through on commitments.
I would highly recommend Robert to anyone considering a Pro/E migration or major upgrade.

As a full service provider of molds and precision plastics, we found that partnering with engineering minded suppliers of CAD/CAM software has been essential for robust design capabilities and first time quality of products. Our value-add is focused on front-end design.
We have had positive results from Aaron Spicer at Boundary Systems to help with our CAD/CAM sales support.
On behalf of Delta Design, LLC, we want to say thank you again for all of the effort that you have put into presenting Pro/E to our design team. Because of your efforts, we were able to make critical decisions necessary for us to offer Pro/E design support for our customers. Your efforts have gone beyond any of our expectations and I appreciate your high level of professionalism. We are placing every effort into expanding that opportunity so we may add Pro/E to our CAD portfolio. I am flat-out excited about Pro/E and look forward to working with it in the near future
Just a follow up note of thanks. The seminar was terrific although it underlined how much I have yet to learn about the power in the ProE software. More and more job postings have been appearing stating a need for understanding ProE so I agree that this may be fertile ground indeed. Sean is pretty passionate and makes a heck of an instructor.
Myself, I would be happy to continue drawing on a napkin utilizing my engineering intuition however and especially after hearing the seminar contents, can see how seamlessly everything fits together after a model is initially made in the correct fashion.
Just terrific.
Robert did a great job for us throughout the upgrade process. He's a good guy to work with - and he has a lot of knowledge and talent. I appreciate his level of intensity. Just the right amount, in my opinion. I look forward to any future dealings with him.
"Thank You Nicole. You are an excellent customer service person. Your company is fortunate to have you!"
"We wanted to take a moment to let you know how impressed we were with Boundary Systems and one of your instructors, Sean Fahringer. Sean is very knowledgeable and wants everyone to understand. Sean customized our class to what we needed with superb content and delivery. Excellent teaching skills and answering questions in all areas. Wonderful person to work with. Thanks for the opportunity to cover some things that will be very useful for all of us!"
"I found Sean to be very knowledgeable in using Pro/NC for real world situations. He was able to answer all of my questions as well as provide some additional insight beyond the explanations in the training manual. I've attended numerous software training sessions over the years for various products, and I prefer instructors to use real world examples over the samples in the training manuals. I've found that I learn things easier if I see an instructor do something on the overhead and then I attempt to do something similar (but not identical) out of the training manual."
"I would like to take a moment to thank your team for the excellent training and excellent scheduling support we have received on our Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3 update training. Boundary Systems was resourceful and flexible to meet and exceed our expectations, especially with some unexpected scheduling issues. The engineers gave the trainer an excellent report."
"We were skeptical of how much of an impact the engineer from Boundary was going to have coming in to consult with us, but within the first 60 minutes we knew that he was going to have huge impact on how we use the software. It was excellent. He taught us all about top down design, skeleton parts, motion, best practices, and other aspects of the software that are going to be very important to our business moving forward. It was just great. Actually, were thinking about setting up a cubicle for him and never letting him leave!"
"Just a follow up on the training class that I attended from 10/24/05 thru 10/28/05. First of all I have attended several training classes for various CAD systems including SDRC Ideas and Solidworks. During these classes it can be very difficult to keep up with the instructors due to the amount of material that needs to be covered. In all of the classes that I have taken I can tell you that the instructor for Pro Engineer Fast Track to Wildfire 2.0, Robert Serhan, was the most knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and professional that I have ever had the pleasure in working with. In a very short time I was able to navigate, and utilize the tools that Pro Engineer offers. I have indicated to my organization that we should capitalize on the training offered by Boundary Systems to take us to the next level in product design. I congratulate Boundary Systems for having such a professional instructor. I look forward in taking my next class with Boundary Systems. Best Regards."
"Ian, as soon as we get off the phone I need you to contact Robert Serhan's boss and let him know that he was our savior Friday night. We were changing out network cards in our servers not knowing it was gong to impact engineering's licenses of Pro/ENGINEER. We panicked. We were on hold with PTC for like an hour and then we decided to call Boundary Systems. We ended up with Robert on the phone at 8 or 9 at night and he stayed on the phone and waked us through the entire process for an hour. We are up and running. Robert is awesome. We won't forget it."
"I just spent the last two days at an EMX training class with Wade Moravek from Boundary Systems. This was, by far, the best EMX training I've had. Of course, I knew a lot of the material already, but I still learned an a lot. The latest build of EMX 5.0 (M031 or higher) works fine. Build M040 is not available from the PTC website, but you can get it from Hannes. It's not absolutely perfect, but still better than 4.1 and definitely more user-friendly. There is much better functionality for defining custom moldbases and components, and Wade covers this in the class.
I don't know if Reddog is still interested in pursuing EMX for designs, but if you are, this class would be a "must" for all designers. EMX 5.0 is significantly different from 4.1, similar to the way Wildfire was different from older Pro/E. This class is essential to gain a complete understanding of all the functionality of the software."
