Who is BOUNDARY SYSTEMS?

We are a solutions provider for companies using or looking to use PTC or MSC software to improve their product development processes. Our team has been selling and implementing PTC solutions for over 12 years and offers the most comprehensive offering of solutions and expertise available. At Boundary Systems we help companies to be more profitable and more competitive with the latest technology as well as the tools they already own.

What design specialties does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS have?

We are experts on CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), PDM (Product Data Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). For companies that are focused on product development and advanced manufacturing, we are able to help implement best-in-class solutions and support those environments for years to come. While we are focused on Pro/ENGINEER and Windchill as primary solutions, we have many customers that we support for other CAD and PLM solutions as well including Autocad, NX, CATIA, Solidworks, and Inventor.

What simulation solutions does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS support?

Boundary Systems supports, trains in, and sells the full line of PTC and MSC analysis and simulation solutions. From our PTC product lines we offer Mechanica for designers who already know CAD but also need to run structural and thermal simulations. For more complex geometry and advanced simulation, we support the advanced simulation capabilities of MSC Software products including SimExpert, Nastran, Marc, Adams, Dytran, and MSC.Fatigue. These products empower customers to use advanced solvers for linear, nonlinear, explicit, and dynamic environments as well as combining these products for multi-physics solutions.

What Product Data Management (PDM) solutions does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS support?

We have helped our customers to be successful with various PDM solutions over the past 12 years. Boundary Systems is a preferred-certified implementer of Windchill solutions. These award winning PDM solutions to manage CAD such as Pro/ENGINEER, Autocad, NX, CATIA, Solidworks, and Inventor. Windchill solutions also allow us to help companies expand capabilities to include document management, change management, configuration management, enterprise search-find-view, ERP integration, vendor management, and standards compliance. We are also a reseller of the PTC-IBM on demand solution. Using PLM On Demand, companies can avoid many of the upfront costs of Product Lifecycle Management by having it hosted remotely and simplifying their costs to a simple monthly fee. The Windchill family of products now includes Product Point which allows companies to use their Share Point environment to manage CAD files.

What training does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS offer?

Boundary Systems is a Certified PTC Training Provider. Our training centers are complemented by our Mobile Training Centers that allow us to deliver training anywhere in the United States, including on-site at your company. We offer all courses developed by PTC as well as customized training. Boundary Systems can also offer a host of web based training solutions. We currently have training centers that service Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan. We offer courses for all of the packages we support.

What does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS have to offer our manufacturing environment?

Boundary Systems engineers have a long history with PTC’s manufacturing solutions. These include training and implementation of Pro/NC for milling, lathe, WEDM, laser, plasma, water cutting, and mill-turn solutions. G-POST base postprocessors tailored to your specific machine and controller are part of every implementation. Training on Austin NC’s G-POST solution for inhouse postprocessor development is also available.

What solutions does BOUNDARY SYSTEMS have for enterprise wide file viewing?

We resell and support ProductView, the Windchill integrated solution for extending file viewing throughout a company. We also offer AutoVue which allows for viewing of hundreds of different CAD files including Pro/ENGINEER, UG, CATIA, Solidworks, Solidedge, Inventor, and AutoCAD, just to name a few.

How can Boundary Systems improve efforts around Technical Publications?

Part of PTC’s suite of solutions includes Arbortext. Arbortext is the leading product in the market today for the creation and management of technical publications. The latest capabilities within Arbortext include complete integration with Windchill and all leading CAD systems for seamless updating and management of technical documents and manuals.

Can I renew software maintenance contracts with Boundary Systems?

Yes. We are able to work with your company to put maintenance support contracts in place for any of the products we sell.

We sell and train the following additional products. MathCAD, ZWCAD, Moldex3D, Smart Assembly, Smart Electrode, Etrage Windchill Viewer, Oracle, CADFix, G-POST, and a host of other solutions that enhance product development and manufacturing environments.
